architecture of perfect systems, and harmonious physical balances found within something as simple as a honeycomb. Using bronze and glass I sculpt natural forms, sometimes on larger scales, creating an environment of discovery and closer inspection. My work is similar to what a cabinet of curiosities would have done in the past for the early practitioners of science. Birth, growth, death and regeneration are threads that run throughout my work.
My work reveals parts of the cycle of life connecting us back to nature. It highlights aspects of nature’s wonders, giving importance back to the little amazing things, we so easily take for granted.
